from friendster :P

Webster calls it fate;
A Lot or a Fortune.
I guess that's partyly true,
Luck's surely played it's portion.

But, to me it's a lady,
I met in school one day.
Who's warmed my heart and soul,
And made my life so bright.

If I could touch and hold,
And look into her eyes,
I'd tell her that I love her,
And all the reasons why.

Mental pictures that she paints,
The way she makes me feel.
And how she's found within me,
A love that is so real.

Her knack of always knowing,
When I need a lift.
Her wondrous sense of humor,
That's such a natural gift.

The way she puts behind,
Things that I regret.
Her help and care to people,
That others might forget.

I'd ramble on for hours,
She'd listen with a smile.
It would only touch the surface,
Like an inch, is to a mile.

So Lover's Day is here,
Our first one together.
I hope and pray with all my heart,
We share future ones forever.

My Destiny is so much more

Daydreamer ~ Hillary Scott

Never really seen this face before
Still I have pictures of you hanging on my wall
We're like two candles in the dark
More than a million miles apart

And every place that I've called home
Is just one more place from which soon I will roam

And every stranger seems to say
Hey, baby, who can I remind you of today

Make-believer
That is what you say to me
Hey daydreamer
Just don't wake me from my dream

But I dream, do you
How do your waking eyes see you through
And I even dream of you
Maybe one day I will dream a dream for you
Maybe one day I will dream a dream for you

You always told me that I needed the wings to fly
That is why I say goodbye
I will miss you when I'm gone
I wonder, was it meant to end this way all along

Make-believer
Is that what you say to me
Call me daydreamer
Just don't wake me from my dream

tradeoffs

People ask how it feels to live the kind of life others dream about
I tell them everybody gotta face their highs and their lows
And in my life there's a love I put aside, cause I was busy loving something else
So for every little thing you hold on to, you've got to let something else go
